Familiar with the design build method, Frito Lay chose R.J. Taylor because R.jJ. Taylor is a pioneer in the design-build construction method. This 40,000sf warehouse distribution facility consisted of office, expandable high bay storage, a free standing maintenance shop, and a 150,000 gallon back up water storage tank. Work through NYSDEC, Army Core of Engineers and difficult local planning boards, R.J. Taylor’s mastery of the approval process allowed the team to start construction before the final approvals. The project was delivered on time and within budget with quality second to none.
